PFL General Body Meeting - Sep 2013

We held our first General Body Meeting under the new Executive Board sworn in at the beginning of this year. We had many PFL members and our now LSP leaders, Hyma & Dilip give updates on all the progress made in our projects and the work we have done in constituencies that we have taken up as CPPs (Constituency Promotion Projects).

Sravanthi Yalamanchili started with the good name we earned in Matlam village with selfless dedicated work by our volunteers with the ground team. We were also able to spread Lok Satta ideologies in surrounding villages, making them aware if the choices they had available during elections.

Srinivas Gullapalli provided updates on the achievements made with our PFL Guru program that has been spreading from constituency to constituency with increased success as we streamline our efforts from our volunteers across the globe. He also gave the updates on our work in Vizag North.

For the Rayadurgam constituency, Raghuram Tadimalla brought to us the updates on the work we continue to do for the farmers including help them sell their produce across state borders without middlemen if they choose to do so.

We continue to expand across the globe and had new chapter introductions from Dallas, Detroit, Cincinnati, Italy, South Africa, Canada and Singapore.

Our central executive board VP of Events, Pradeep Chukkapalli talked about our success this year at TANA where we exceeded our own expectations. Venu Sadu and Vivek Mandava have updates in the new IT wing formed to better handle PFL web tasks and the initiatives this new team has taken up to increase our efficiency. Jawahar Kambhampati provided updates on round table conferences we have planned across the US to find solutions for the state of impasse in AP, with Dallas headed by Rajanikanth Errabelli leading these efforts. Suresh Ediga provided updates on all our concerted efforts to stop the amendments to RTI proposed by our corrupt politicians. This was followed by a vote of thanks from the president Rajani Karuturi.
