Loksatta Party National President Surendra Srivastava USA/UK Trip May 2015

All - It gives us immense pleasure to announce that the president of Loksatta Party Shri Surendra Srivastav (Suren) will be making a tour of the NRI teams of the Loksatta party. On the tour, Mr. Srivastava will tour several cities in the US and the UK. The LSP president is making the trip is to meet the NRI community, re-energize the LSP NRI teams, and to build deeper relationships with the volunteers who have helped spread the LSP message outside India.

 

As leaders of the LSP NRI teams, we are indebted to the party president for taking on this trip as a personal priority, and on personal expense to help us grow the roots of the party in the US and UK. LSP National General Secretary Ms. Hyma Potineni will also be in the US and join Mr. Srivastava on some of his events as her schedule permits.

 

We request all interested participants to find a location where they can participate in an event to meet and interact with the president of the party. Suren has made it amply clear that he gets great energy from team members and supporters who question our direction, and are passionate about the growth of the idea of Loksatta. Bandaru elected President of Telangana Loksatta

Mr. Bandaru Ramamohan Rao of Hyderabad has been elected President and Mr. Marepally Srinivas Reddy of Nalgonda General Secretary of the Telangana State Committee of the Loksatta Party.

Members of the Adhoc Committee for Telangana appointed by Loksatta Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan elected the office-bearers by secret ballot at a meeting held at the party headquarters here on July 14. Mr. P. Kodanda Rama Rao, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, presided over the meeting.

Dr. JP later ratified the office-bearer’s election.

Loksatta Party committees for AP, Telangana and GHMC

Loksatta Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan has appointed Adhoc Committees to run party affairs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States and expanded the party’s Greater Hyderabad unit.

In a media statement issued here today, Dr. JP named Mr. D. V. V. S. Varma as President and Mr. A. S. Ramesh Reddy as General Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh unit. He has appointed Messrs YD Rama Rao, K Omkar, Beeshetti A Babji (BC), Narra Sridhar, Chennupati Vazeer, Panchadi Rambabu (BC) and Venkateswarlu (SC) as Vice Presidents, and Messrs J Iramurthy (BC), TR Jagannatha Reddy, S Janakirama Raju, Smt Sunitha Chowdary, M Siddhaiah Naidu, PV Ramana (SC) and Mohd Ismail (minority) as Secretaries.
